Erick Gomez

Hi! I’m Erick Gomez I am currently finishing up my major in Software Engineering focused more towards the backend side and most passionate about working with C++, Java, and Python. I was born and raised in the United States, but my family is from Peru. Growing up, I visited my cousins in Peru once a year, which helped me fall in love with my heritage and embrace my culture. I’m a first generation college student, which has taught me the value of hard work, perseverance, and family. Family plays a big role for me in life and it's what motivates me to constantly put in the work in being the best version of myself to break into Tech. I enjoy building meaningful connections both personally and professionally. My focus is on creating reliable and efficient backend systems, and I’m always eager to take on new challenges and grow as a developer.
